Hawaii Post #4 "The Food and Fun"

Any good vacation revolves around good food, good drinks, good coffee...and just good time fun.
We feasted on everything from Fresh Sushi, Pizza, BBQ, hot breakfast every morning, lava flow drinks and Pina Coladas (Pina pronounced with a Y) made by Paul that knocked one of of out...hi Les! We enjoyed a mean game of Bochi Ball at our condo, spent some quality time by the pool and one day at the beach. We also had a private Hula Dance lesson at the wedding reception. We opted not to participate in the snorkeling due to the ranger spotting something large in the water the day before. UM NO THANKS! Okay, now I am hungry...off to get a snack. Wish it was sushi!

A Boy and his Football

Ty is completely into his football this year. Makes his papa proud! So when I wanted to practice with the new lens Mike got me for my birthday I reluctantly asked Ty if I could take pictures of him expecting a NO. But he wanted to go outside and throw the ball around, so he was game!

I have to just say a quick thanks to Mike for giving me the lens, knowing how much I love my little hobby...and a big thank you for giving me such gorgeous subjects to photograph. Because I just have to brag a little here and say Ty is beautiful! Love this little firecracker!

Hawaii Post # 3 "The View"

All of these are taken on the property where the wedding was held. This church was right next door and it is an old historic place on the island. The property had it's own little cove with a resident turtle that popped up a few times during the ceremony. Simply Beautiful.

Hawaii Post #2 "The Bride"

Angie made a very calm, a tad emotional (in a good way), absolutely beautiful bride.

Hawaii Post #1 "The Details"

I have been trying to figure out how to post all the photos I want to share without having one mother of a post. So I decided to break them up in categories. So here's starting with one of my favorites; THE WEDDING DETAILS.

The Thirty Somethings are Great!

Had a great B-day Yesterday. Thanks to all who called, emailed or sent cards and goodies! Love you all. I had to share this one card. It's from my girl Molly! She knows me so well and I got a kick out of it!! I can taste the french fries just looking at the card!
And a happy birthday to you Tracy!! I think it's been 14 Birthdays shared together! Wow. Love you!

I'm Back from Tropical Paradise!

Glad to be home, but tired. Here's a few pictures of the most beautiful wedding I think I have been to. We felt like it was a celebrity wedding. We were treated like stars. More to come later.

Here's What I've Done Today....

And here's what I have to do before leaving on Sunday for a week.

Today I did:

  • Up on the computer at 5:40 (couldnt sleep)
  • Took Emery and Ty to School.
  • Dropped of a Check to my Mary Kay Lady ;).
  • Stopped by Starbucks for my Grande Americano with Cream (price was raised a nickle)
  • Met the Girls at the Daisy Bucket for a photo shoot.
  • Hung out at the Bucket for another 30 minutes till it was time to pick up Ty.
  • Picked up Ty and then swung into Maurices to try on 3 pairs of jeans (no success)
  • Picked up Emery at school went home.
  • Made lunch and then tried to get 3 little ones down for naps. Worked on that for 2 hours as I processed the photo-shoot. No Naps. Ug!
  • Oh, and a couple loads of laundry.

To Do: (and here is what I need to be doing) (WHAT IS DONE)

  • Make dinner.
  • Clean my Bathrooms and Kids Rooms
  • For Mops: Type up Agenda for Tonights meeting. Print out Name cards, Write Newsletter, Interview Speaker and then turn it all over for someone else to run the show next Wed. when Im gone.
  • Get Ready for a Garage SAle Im having on Saturday. (what was I thinking) Planning on throwing it all together late Friday Night.
  • Pack for Hawaii (Not stressed about that, I have a list already)
  • Stop tearing up every time I think about leaving my kids for a week.
  • Finish Angies Wedding Designs (Programs, Agendas, Name Cards, Gift Tags, Gift Albums)
  • Get Up to the Camera Store to get another Memory Card for the trip.
  • Find Brown Sandals someplace (no more summer styles out there)
  • Type up Schedules for the Grandmas while I am gone.
  • Sunday Agenda: Church at 9 am, Pre-school program for Ty at 10:30, Dinner with family at Noon, Come home and Pack, Leave for Seattle in Afternoon to fly out Early Monday Morning.

So why am I blogging instead of working...because my brain is fried and I have been up since the crack...and well, List help me! so there you have it.

With the sun going down earlier we find ways to entertain the kids and get their energy out. Dance Party is one of their favorites. Piper gets to join in now. Here they are giggin to "Cotton-Eye-Joe", "Who Let The Dogs Out" and the "Hamster Dance."
