An New Phase in my Life as a Mom...
Packed Lunch! I have a thing against Hot Lunch in the schools. Personally I think it is one of the causes of childhood obesity. I know the schools do all they can, but it just doesnt measure up to what a mama can pack. (please ignore the candy bar in the picture ;) I did tell her she could choose one hot lunch a week. I was afraid she would feel left out from the vast majority that eats hot lunch at our school. But so far she hasnt asked....so i wont remind her.

Right there with you! So glad that I decided to do the packed lunch thing. Especially on the day that they had spagetti at school and all the other kids were covered in it!:) And good news is that I haven't forgotten yet!:)
I caught a whiff of the school lunch aroma from RH yesterday and it smells exactly like it did when I went to elementary school! I wonder what their secret ingredient is?! Cute lunchbox-cooler!

Ok... from a school employee... I have to tell you, lunches have changed a little. :-) SOME OF THEM! Weiner Wrap day is FAMOUS among the staff... they are soo soo good! The bread is like homemade bread. The other day I will each lunch is spaghetti day... it is kinda good! But... I, too, am packing lunches.
I was always jealous of the kids who got "cold" lunch. But for some bazarr reason Patrick Foreman always traded his twinkie for my green beans. Weird-o

Yeah! It's so MAMA to be packing lunches, huh? Some of our faves are mini PBJs between 2 mini pancakes, bagel and cream cheese, homemade uncrustables (Pampered chef sells the tool), lunch meat wrapped around a cheese stick. Happy lunch packing!
I was so in love with Patrick Foreman. I would of traded him my lunch any day!
weiner wrap day rocks... but nothing beats a cold lunch packed by mom. (especially the candy bar)
