Under My Desk

I am finally starting to be able to breath and sleep at night since my work load after returning from vacation is reducing back to normal. Today as I sit here doing just a few things at my desk my kids decided to join me. I am typing with go-go gadget arms over them.
On a side note: I haven't seen some of these supplies in over a year...I'm glad someone is able to enjoy my stamps.

She Makes Us Laugh

Okay, I am adding a bit of info for the photo. This was taken on Coronado at a very fun diner. We asked for child sized root beer floats for the kids. They said they only had one size. We assumed it would be sized for the average sized adult...and then we could just help them out. But low and behold they served us up these...sized for Andre the Giant.

Someone's been on my heart...

And as I listened to the music Mike is downloading in the background...this song hit me hard. And I wanted to share it for all of you, but especially to the one on my heart.

Stellar Kart Lyrics "Jesus Loves You"
Tell me what do you believe in
Does your life have rhyme or reason
Something in your heart that makes you care
I hope that you don't mind me asking
But I have got a burning passion
I need to know forever you'll be there
I can't make it clearer
Put it any other way
If you can't see the simple truth I do
Then there's nothing in this world that's left to say
But Jesus loves you
I know I don't have all the answers
And I have wasted many chances
To prove to you a faith that lives inside
I'm praying there will be a breakthrough
Cause I can't be the one to save you
God knows how many times I've tried
I can't explain
But I can't deny
So many times for you I've cried
And to see you on your knees tonight
I cant make it clearer
Put it any other way
To know you know simple truth I do
And to know that your forever has been changed
Cause Jesus loves you

Vacation 08~Spending time with old friends

This may be my last official vacation post. Although there will probably be more random pictures here and there. I would have been finished with my vacation post a couple days ago if some certain friends of mine (pictured at bottom) hadnt introduced me to "FaceBook". It's been a tad distracting.

We had the opportunity to spend some quality time with friends from SD (college friends) as well as friends up in Seattle when we returned there for a week. I love old friends!

Here we are spending some time with the Jason, Micki and Megan. Piper and Megan got along so well. It kind of makes me all smiley in side to think of Jason and Mike back in their prime...and then now family men with sweet little girls close to the same age. (those who know Mike and Jason back in the day would smile too) Im sad I didnt get a picture with my friend Micki since we got to spend lots of time together!
Here we are enjoying dinner with the Kerrs. Thanks Tim & Brandy for sharing your home with us!

Here's Timmy entertaining the ladies as usual. The party has changed a bit though...
And here we are back up at Grandma Beaches with Maggie, Ava and Cameron.

And I love love dinner out with the girls. We laugh alot! And they try to fill all the holes in my memory. Annie I finally remembered the night you were talking about when we went and played pool...vaguely though.

Vacation 08~Sea World

The kiddos meeting Shamu for the first time. Later that evening they got to have dinner with him. (well one of the many shamu's at least)

I really think my kids favorite part was this ginormous Sesame Street play area they had there. They spent hours running around it.

The Dolphins where the one thing my kids were looking forward to the most. They were great. At the first Shamu show we went to Ty was so upset that he didnt get splashed. So we sat really low at the Dolphin show...

As soon as the first splash came he was ready to go. As you can see in this picture I look as if I am NOT enjoying the splashing. I really have no clue why I made this face (other than the salt water in my eyes) because I really enjoyed getting splashed.

The coolest thing they had there was feeding and touching the dolphins. It was awesome. We had to go do this twice because Piper was asleep in the stroller the first time we went. Of course it's the first thing she asked about when she woke up.

Vacation 08~Family Photo Shoot

One of the events I was most looking forward to on our trip was our family photo shoot by Carey from Barefoot-Memories. She did not disappoint! The shoot was so much fun...even having to deal with my middle child having middle child issues during the shoot, which I knew he would. But he warmed up a bit and she captured his and all of our personalities perfectly! She blogged about the shoot on her blog here: Carey's Blog.

I am so glad we did this. Now I know a little more what my clients go through in anticipation of the shoot and seeing the images. I have learned alot and hope to implement some changes to my business based on the experience with Barefoot-Memories.

Vacation 08~The Sandy Shore

We spent tons of time on the beach in SD. And loved every minute of it!

We had some creative body burying time.

We felt Ty needed Nipples.

We Discovered things in the tide pools.

I'm fairly certain Emery was just pointing out a sea creature in this picture...not showing it some attitude with her finger.

We Enjoyed the View

We Body Surfed (no pictures of Mike and I enjoying the waves...but we did.)

Built Many A Sand Castle

We Got Sand in All Regions.
