Thank You "Grandma Lives Here"
I dont say it enough!! Thank you Thank you to my wonderful Mother-In-Law. This weekend has been fabulous. Yesterday she took the kids most of the day so Mike and I could just hang out together. We went shopping for new bedding. (side note, we ran into our pastor and his wife at the mall, they told us to "have fun" with the new bedding. Ha! How cute are they?)
And tonight grandma is taking the kids all night!!! How awesome is that!!? I really do have a fabulous MIL, and not just because she like's to take the kids! She is one of the most giving woman I have ever met! And boy do the kids ever know it..Emery has a shirt to prove my point. We love you!

FUN! You are so lucky. It is SO nice to have time together, just the two of you and NO kids. Love days like that. My MIL took the kids for a few hours today too, and John B-B-Qed some YUMMY steaks for us for lunch, and we just hung out. It is always so refreshing to have times like that. Enjoy your night alone, with new bedding. :)

Yes... I must say... I feel jealousy (in a friend kinda way) about both all of your post... shopping alone with my husband... a grandma so close... new bedding... life is GOOD!!! :-) Enjoy. (would love to see the new bedding)

Thank you Shannon that is so nice to hear. They are just the best grandkids in the world and I love spending time with them! We were having a great time until Ty started missing Mommy this morning and wanted to go home. And as soon as Piper saw Mommy she was ready too! Emery on the other hand had a piece of paper out and she was making a calendar of how many more days she could spend here! Glad you and Mike had a nice time together!

Very cool! Totally laughing that Dave and Sheila were joking about your new bedding! Its nice for parents and kids to have time apart so you can remember that you do actually enjoy each other! Grandma's are awesome!

It is so nice to get a break with your husband and know that you have nothing to worry about because the kiddos are in safe hands!
We were lucky enough to get a night to ourselves tonight also. It was so wonderful! Grandparents are great! Also, I wanted to say that your children are beautiful! I didn't realize how much Piper looks like Emery! Have a great day!
