Im a mom of a 1st grader...
...and it feels a tad strange.
She did great, had fun, but couldnt remember really what she did all day except recess twice. I thought she would be exhausted but she said she wasnt. It wasnt until after I went to check on her in her room (for a time-out) and found her fast asleep that I knew she was wiped.

For a time out?!?! :-) I am totally with you... mom of a first grader sure seems wild! Seems like yesterday we had these little babies, huh?
Recess is what most kids remember... especially since they get 3 a day now! :)

The first thing out of Luke's mouth on the first day of school (6th grade) "we only get 15 minutes for recess!!! Definitely the highlight of the day for all. I can't believe she's in 1st grade either. I remember when you found out you were pregnant w/her. Time flies so fast. First grade is still fun, enjoy!

Recess and lunch was the only thing Justin remembered! They are all growing up so fast!
What am I going to do when my daughter starts first grade...I am so emotional reading this blog!
