Your Input Please...

Im soliciting some free advice. I'm getting ready to make up some new fresh samples for the Bridal Fair and thought I would ask you for ideas I may not have been thinking of. So if you were all young impressionable brides...what would you look for in Wedding Invitations? Colors, Styles, do-dads, etc.
I have some ideas, just thought I would put it out there. And hey if I use your idea, maybe I'll post it here and give you props...(how exciting I know ;).

Thanks!

My cousin just got married and she was a very trendy "magazine" bride. She was very into the pink and brown colors and very clean and simple invites. If I did mine all over again, I would want a very simple font with not much frill on the invites. It seems like now simple is the trendy thing. Not sure if that really helps. I would love to see some of the samples you come up with for the show!!!

i was a young impressionable bride just a couple of years ago, and i can tell you that colorful really stood out to me. while we went w/ traditional white invites (budget), the trendy fonts and bold colors (orange & pink, green & blue) really made me drool.

good luck to you - can't wait to hear how it goes!!

My sister got married last year and I did her invites. She had a beach themed wedding. I used buffed colored card stock. Cut them three long strips pur page. Information centered with black ink. Then I used a glue stick around the edges and dipped it into a mixture of sand and a little glitter. To finish it off I order very small real star fish from oriental trading and hot glued one center top of the invite. So cute. We got lots of great comments.

I like formal, clean lines with just a little flair. I love the ones that you use the silk flowers on. Maybe some that are accessorized with white flowers and rhinstone (sp?) centers? I don't really think that I am on the cutting edge of the bridal world right now though!:)

Good luck! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Hi Shannon!
I like faux dripping diamonds (tear-shape, fake crystal or plastic jewels) as a top adorning feature. I'm still a sucker for the classic white & silver, with black. Maybe more bold on the silver. Can't wait to see what your brain comes up with!
