Catch & Release
This is my version of Catch and Release. To me, actually killing the spider or in this case the monster that crawled across the floor, would be much scarier than just slipping a glass over it, shimmy a piece of cardboard under it and release the beast outside where it belongs. On the positive side, to see spiders this size is a sign of fall coming! My favorite season and no allergies!

This is how I get rid of spiders too. For some reason, as much as I hate them, I can't kill them. BTW, you should have seen the HUUUUGE bug that flew into our room the other night. I'm pretty sure it was a locust! Gross! Oh, one more thing, the book we were reading on the train, I believe, was The Horse Whisperer. :) I love and miss you Shanny!
Cute picture. My kids usually try and get one of the animals to eat the bugs they find in the house, gross.

What great pics! See, I would never even think of doing that but it's such a cute memory. Looks like I need to get better about pulling out my camera more often!
Very cool pictures! Yeah Fall is coming!
Horray for Fall, but, NASTY SPIDER!
Emery's emotion is so cute!
My grandma would be so proud of you! She always said that spiders bring good luck to your home! She would never kill one and you were so busted if you ever killed a spider at Grandma's house!
