If my walls could talk....

...Oh wait, now they do! So remember when I said I wanted to paint my paint my banner slogan on my walls? Well I have! Actually Mike did. Since that post I have heard of a couple different companies that make vinyl lettering for walls, and even custom ones. I even found out I have a friend that sells them. I have been taking my own sweet time on figuring out how to make a custom order out of my "Motto." In the mean time Mike was hired by a local lady to design a logo and website for her new business which happens to be vinyl lettering. So he surprised me today with this! I love it!

(and to my friend who sells it...I promise I will order something from you too, because I am now addicted and want them on all my walls!!)

Party Girl!

A Party for our little Minne Mouse.

After getting all huffy at Safeway because they were less than helpful on making a minnie mouse cake, i decided to just do one myself. So mom and I were figuring it out last minute, and we were pretty proud of the results!

Mike made a fun bean bag toss game, which doubled nicely as a Photo prop!

A picture of Piper saying "Shoes" as she opened one of her gifts, then her running around in her new Vans. So cute!

And since the last few post have been all about the Pips, heres one of my other children patiently watching their sister shine in her moment.

Happy Birthday Sweet Piper!

This morning as she lay in bed with us, I leaned over and said "Happy Birthday Piper!" She smiled really big and said...."Cake?" Not yet honey. "Prize?"

My kind of girl!

How Do You Celebrate President's Day?

Well in this house we jump in the van on a whim with one person blind folded and drive around to the middle of no where to see if the other can find their way home. Uh huh! We call it an adventure. And we did it twice yesterday. One challenge for me (the master of sense of direction) and one challenge for Mike. This is our kind of fun in small town USA!

This was the view I had when I finally took my blind fold off. Luckily it was up high enough I could get a sense of what way I needed to go. I could see the Blue's on one side of me and town on the next. It wasn't until I ran into the Columbia though that I actually knew where I was. The princess really wasn't into the adventure, that is until we popped in some movies. Ty however loved it. All prepared with his compass, dagger, sword and superman socks!

This is where we ended up when I drove Mike to tin-buck-two. I actually didn't really even know where we were. It was really pretty though. We took a stop at our friend's Ian and Lindsay's house for some rice crispy treats and to see their new additions. (the calves that is)

Is this February?

Myth Busters!

Myth: Too much sugar makes your teeth fall out. Myth Confirmed!
After a huge amount of sugar was consumed at her Valentine's celebration, Emery's second loose tooth popped out. Surprised us both. I promise I wont post a picture with every tooth she looses. Well maybe with her top teeth, cause that will be a cute picture!
Anyone else a fan of the show Myth Busters? Because if not this post wont make complete sense other than the fact that Emery lost a tooth. Farewell.

Crack of Dawn

It's 4:30 am and I have been awake for 1.5 hours. I thought instead of tossing and turning and keeping Mike awake I should just get up. This is going to kill me in a few hours. I don't do well on little sleep. But it seems it's happening more and more. So here I am with little to say...but a cute picture to post. I took this of Pip yesterday in her "heart" shirt. In one week our baby will be two. Sad and Unbelievable...(aside for the fact that the fits are in full force.) Something about this little girl that makes us all smile. Could be those eyes or her spunky spirit. I'm pretty sure it's both.

Invitations, a Hair-do and a Cake

Sounds like a wedding huh? Actually it is just a catch up post, 3 in one.

Saturday's bridal show went well. A bit slow, but fun none the less.
Met lot's of fun people too.

So I gave in and cut Piper's bangs. And this time I dont regret it. Gave her the little dutch boy bob just like Emery used to have. So sweet. Although check out the back...Bed Head! Looks like she had a dream about watching a Tennis Match.

And it's cake auction time at the preschool. The theme this year "love one another" however Ty really wanted a Super Man cake. So mamma improvised. Super Man's Shield became a heart and I added; "God is Super" Silly, but he liked it! I am definitely not going into a cake decorating business anytime soon.

Bowly Ball

Ty waiting patiently for his ball to make it down the lane.
Cheering it on a bit helped.

Ty wanted to go play Bowly Ball Friday night. So we squeezed in a game before league started. We had the whole place to ourselves which was good since Pip wanted to run everywhere including down the lane.
